“Nevada State High School socially provided me with activities that help get me out of the house and talk with other students. I was able to volunteer and go to social point activities that helped me open up more and talk to more people than I normally would had I been in a normal high school.“

It led to me having much responsibility on myself as a college student and as an individual. I got to learn many new things during my Nevada State High School years that helped me learn and improve myself.”

Today was the first day of school, and man oh man, am I thankful for Nevada State’s program! I am more than ready for this next chapter of college. I absolutely loved Nshs!! I would not have been able to achieve and accomplish so much had it not been for the Hawks and their program! I recommended the program to several friends who ended up going and graduating from Nshs.Â

Looking back on it, there was boring parts of course, but I only really remember the good times I had at NSHS. I used to complain about going to study skills twice a week, but now I just remember the fun that I had during it. I also still use some of the things I learned during study skills and/or the transitions course. As a whole, it was fun. I’m glad I chose Nevada State.
