Nevada State High School (NSHS) would like to thank the following companies and organizations for their generous donations and support.
NSHS students are an active part of the Nevada community. Students at NSHS give back to the communities that support them through their schooling by volunteering their time at local nonprofit organizations. In their first year at NSHS, students are required to earn at least 40 volunteer hours as part of their personal development, and many continue to volunteer their time throughout their senior year as well.
NSHS parents are a strong partner in student support. From providing transportation to and from classes to coming in for meetings and grade checks, parents are actively involved in their children’s education. They can also be involved with the school in other ways, such as chaperoning field trips, helping with on-site events, spreading the word about the school, and more. If you are looking for ways to get more involved with NSHS, please submit a help ticket.
Business Community Volunteers
Members of the business community in Henderson and Las Vegas contribute to the development of NSHS students by volunteering their time, too! Community volunteers conduct mock interviews with students in April every year to help improve career and college readiness skills. Some of these professionals also give their time and knowledge to provide career guidance, tutoring, and leadership development.
If your organization needs student volunteers or you are interested in volunteering your own time to support NSHS students, please submit a help ticket.
