Nevada State High School celebrates 5-star status for all schools
Every year, on September 15, the Nevada Department of Education releases its school ratings. Schools are rated on a one star to five star scale with five stars being the highest score possible. Schools are rated on several performance measures including Academic Achievement, Graduation Rates, College and Career Readiness, Student Engagement, and English Language Proficiency. Nevada State High School is pleased to announce that all schools received a FIVE-STAR RATING for the 2022-2023 school year. (The North Las Vegas campus did not receive a rating since it only opened in 2022-2023.)

Five Star School Definition
Recognizes a superior school that exceeds expectations for all students and subgroups on every indicator category with little or no exception. A five star school demonstrates superior academic performance and a superior graduation rate. The school does not fail to meet expectations for any group on any indicator. These schools are recognized for distinguished performance.
