Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Anderson I am the new Office manager at the Southwest location. I recently moved to the Las Vegas area from Colorado with my husband and my two sons. I have worked in education for the past 14 years and most recently I worked as a program manager for a before and after school program in an elementary school. I was born and raised in Colorado, and I am a diehard Bronco’s fan. I love being outdoors and being active with my family. We are excited to start our new adventure in Las Vegas and I am excited to meet all of you very soon!

Educational Advising Coordinator – Las Vegas: Southwest
I am originally from San Diego, California and relocated to the Los Angeles area to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). After graduating from CSUN I moved to Las Vegas to begin my Master’s degree in Special Education at UNLV. I have spent time teaching secondary special education for CCSD and also worked as an academic advisor in the College of Education at UNLV. I am a newlywed and am excited to be here at NSHS!
Madelyn Gegen
Educational Advising Coordinator – Henderson
I am a Las Vegas native who graduated from UNLV. I love spending time with my family and friends, gardening, and hiking with my two dogs (when it is not 110 degrees out!). I have been an EAC at the NSHS Henderson Campus since February of this year. I cannot wait for the upcoming semester at NSHS and to finally be able to work with our students in person!
Dwight Reynolds
DSA Sunrise & Downtown
My name is Dwight Reynolds and I am the DSA for Sunrise and Downtown. I am a Philadelphia, PA native who recently moved to Las Vegas with my wife and children. I’ve worked in the Philadelphia School District for the past 10 years as a Teacher, Administrator and Coach working in as many as 26 schools though out the city of Philadelphia. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Queens College CUNY and currently pursuing my post-graduate degree in Educational Leadership at the City University of Seattle. I am a husband and father of five(four and one). I also have an undying love for the arts, primarily music and visual arts, as I am a self-taught music producer and graphic designer. I look forward to learning and growing with the staff, students, and families at Nevada State High School.
