Currently, TMCC is offering winter courses for students to take! Taking a winter course works towards your spring schedule which is a great way to knock out classes before the next semester begins.
Apply for Scholarships
Take advantage of your time! Applying for scholarships is a great way to stay productive. In your free time start searching for scholarship that you can apply for and you can start working on writing essays and submitting your resumes!
Apply for a Seasonal/Part-Time Job
If you have a lot of time on your hands you might want to consider looking for a job. Many companies offer seasonal jobs which a really great so it won’t conflict with school or make you feel overwhelmed. Take this opportunity to learn new skills and gain more experience!
Prepare for the New Year
Start preparing for the next year mentally and physically. You can exercise, change your eating habits, clean your room, buy new school materials, relax, and anything else you feel is crucial. Winter break is also a great time to start preparing for SAT or the ACT. Be productive, study, organize your life and be prepared for the new year!
