The best charter school in Nevada is planning for big things this summer including events, ways to get involved, upgrades at our two longest standing locations, and a new training facility. Each Friday this summer, NSHS staff will be in training and development to continue making progress by planning for the very best service to families as students look to enroll for the fall semester. Many families may have already noticed the school’s new registration portal https://earlycollegenv.schoolmint.net that allows the majority of reenrollment and registration to be done online. This registration portal is a major upgrade and came from deliberate staff planning and feedback from previous school stakeholders. Below are some other big plans this summer including:

Get Involved
Students can start getting involved in a “real college experience” by taking a summer class or retesting their college placements assessments for a higher score. Typically, colleges have two summer sessions that allow students with a valid NSHE number to enroll – visit the website for the respective college to search which summer classes may be open. For individuals looking for a higher placement score, then study using http://edready.org before testing again. NSHS is always looking for students and parents to volunteer or get involved and interested individuals can contact our new Marketing and Engagement Director Mr. Matthew Iles at miles@earlycollegenv.com.
Upgrades
NSHS is planning furniture and possible paint upgrades to its two longest standing locations in Henderson and Summerlin. The furniture will conform to the Sunrise, Downtown, Meadowwood, and Southwest locations. Meanwhile, the burgundy colored furniture will now be a staple at the school’s leadership and training facility at 2651 North Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, NV 89014 which is planned to open at the end of the summer and will house the school’s leadership team and host school wide trainings and development.
These are big plans for the best charter school in Nevada to help the school grow and develop towards making progress of providing students and parents that attend the school a real college experience.
