FAFSA PIN:

The FAFSA Personal Identification Number (PIN) serves as your electronic signature and is required when submitting the FAFSA form on-line. If you are considered a dependent student (dependent upon parents) and will be filing the FAFSA on-line, both you and your parent will need to register for an individual PIN number. Your PIN is different from your parent’s PIN. Scholarship Information

It is very important to remember that NSHS is essentially a one to two year full-ride college scholarship. Our goal is to transition students into college after graduating from NSHS. Part of this transition is focused on helping students become personally transitioned into the college environment. We provide them with knowledge that helps them find and use the resources that available to fund their college education after our program.

Searching for scholarship information is a lot of time and energy. NSHS regularly informs students about possible scholarships, but ultimately students who take personal responsibility to work and find scholarship information will benefit the most. The following information is a list of ways to keep up and find scholarship information.

Internet Searching

Other schools have scholarship information posted on their websites for anyone to access and many scholarship organizations have scholarship information posted on their websites as well. Look at highschool websites from aroung the US to see what scholarship resources they are providing their students with and use it.

College Admissions Office

Colleges often have scholarships for students who attend their schools. Check with Admissions or the Scholarship or Financial Aid Office of the institution you are looking into and ask about the scholarships they offer their students.
