Registration for Fall 2010

Current 10th and 11th graders interested in attending Nevada State High School (NSHS) will be able to register for the 2010-2011 school year from February 1st - July 31st.

Students interested in the NSHS program must:

·         Be going into their junior or senior year of high school

·         Have at least 11 high school credits on their transcript

·         Have a 2.0 GPA or above

 In order to register for the NSHS program you must sumbit ALL of the following at the same time:

·   A signed/completed/TYPED copy of the NSHS Registration Form 

·   A signed/completed copy of the NSHS Health Form; (CLICK HERE)

 ·   A copy of your updated immunization records;

·   A copy of your birth certificate;

·  *A copy of your official high school transcript with current semester grades posted (sealed and stamped by current school);

·   A copy of ALL Nevada High School Proficiency scores (reading, math, science, writing (if you are currently a junior);

*An unofficial transcript will hold a student spot at the school until the end of the current semester. Students must request an official transcript from their current school. A transcript is official only when it is STAMPED and SIGNED by the registrar.p>

 Both the student AND parent/guardian must be present when submitting the registration form and following documents to the NSHS office.

Once you have gathered the appropriate documents and filled out and printed the registration form, please bring them to our administration office located at: 303 S. Water Street, Suite 120 Henderson, NV 89015. The registration office is located on the street side (Water Street) of our building. Hours for registration are Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.and Fridays 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
